... lady told me to wait at least for 2 hours (ideally as much as possible) and wash it without using a soap. Once I washed my hands I wished I waited longer for the top of my hands, as it was not that apparent as the inside.

... another city, 700 miles from home. I was compelled to interact with adults who I feared would constantly judge me. I was thrown into a house with two strangers with the knowledge of only their names. I was forced to adapt to surroundings different from my usual habitat.
It wasn't easy. We bickered about the paint I splattered across the room; we argued about the shrill ring of alarm clocks ...
... and cultural issues. But at the same time I'm also learning a lot. (For example, if you see signs saying "tolet" do not confuse it with "toilet" -- they are advertising an apartment for rent, not a public bathroom.)
So tomorrow is my first day of work, if the jetlag doesn't hinder me too much. I'm looking forward to meeting all my fellow co-workers and starting research. Hopefully I'll get the chance to take some pictures and update this blog again.
