    If you live in the south, you never get snow, you don't even expect it! When the rare time comes around that you ACTUALLY get snow, all hell breaks loose! Even if it is a few flurries, you break everything warm out you have, and act like it is a freakin' blizzard!! Or at least that is what we do in my house. After circling the city and seeing the Capitol building and the University, we headed to the original Whole Foods where the girls had dim sum and pizza, Tad had a burrito and I had a Thai chicken curry bowl. We hit the bookstore next door to purchase a road atlas and tour books on New Orleans and Florida.     ... John and I have started our annual summer hiking excursions, and one of new adventures this year was exploring Mother Neff State Park in Moody, Texas. Although some of the hiking trails are currently closed, the ones that remain open are worthwhile and afford pleasant views of the Texas Hill Country.     Once back at Cedar Breaks, we built another fire and sat outside watching the end of the COLTS game and the beginning of the EAGLES game. Now I'm suffering the consequences since my nose is stuffy and my eyes are itching-cedar fever!! Oh well, some people just never learn.

    Tomorrow we depart the company of the Georgetown RVers and head further north for the South Texas Renegades Jan Rally in Burleson, TX.
