... a blue flag denotes excellent water quality. The camp also had a bar, supermarket and restaurant. We met a lovely woman, Ritsa and her family. She lived in Melbourne until she was 18 and now lives in Greece. She made us some Greek coffee and it was lovely to chat with her.

... we could cruise safely towards our first peninsular, Kassandra. We arrived towards the end of the day looking for a camp that people had recommended. There were two camps and they were both choker. We drove to the beach and to our surprise found that several campers were pitched so decided that this would be fine for us too. We had a delightful swim after a big drive. ...

... The Virgin Mary's Garden and so no other females were allowed in the area dedicated to the religious order. Today it remains as a unique enclave with special rights and recognition as a World Heritage Site. Its sphere of influence is enormous yet it has remained relatively untainted over the centuries. It's worth reading up about this unique religious enclave.
