... I thought I wouldn't be able to travel and I'd be stuck here with the 3 other doofuses for 2 months with nothing to do. I got approval for all of my travel plans on Sunday and away I go!

... the beginning. I ended up being one of those teachers who does the dance in the front of the auditorium as the kids followed along.

The best part about the christmas concert was our Chinese ESL coordinator informed us that we would be renting costumes. The boys had Santa Claus outfits, and I was given a puffy red dress to wear. It was awesome and ridiculous, but I just pretended I was Ms. Claus and had fun with it.

... Isst du scharf? Ja. Isst du Rind? Ja. Isst du Schwein? Ja. Gurken? Natürlich …) und ins 6. Stockwerk hochklettern, wurde ich dann vor dem PC geparkt („Schau dir mal die Bilder an.“). Abendessen war echt lecker (siehe Foto). Had a "Master Class" last night about the Chinese Internet. Very interesting. China is still a sleeping dragon in some ways. But it is waking up.
Beginning to settle into a rhythm here. Get up at 6:45 or so, go to breakfast, class begins at 8:10. Learned today that for some bizarre reason the two classes that I'm in switch order. So MWF it's reading then speaking. TTh it's speaking then reading.
