Still at the Fiat Professional Dealer, Problem found! The Speedometer is faulty causing a low glow of the handbrake warning light and a new Speedometer is required... Spoken to Fiat Customer Services and waiting to hear if they will cover this under goodwill as the Herman is 3 months outside ...

Herman has fallen ill and has been rushed to the Fiat Hospital in Terni... We've seen a mechanic consultant and it appears water has got into the fuel system and now needs to be drained and flushed through...! We were all set for a 6hrs drive to West of Genoa today trying to push on and get around to France and Spain... Hopefully will be sorted today and back on the road tomorrow. UPDATE... So we still here in ...

... the festival began, but it was not very "happy" for obvious reasons. There were a bunch of people dressed in medieval costumes and everyone in the town was very kind to us. I had pizza frita, which is a big pita bread with salt. I have been going to a salsa dancing place recently, which is really fun. I enjoy it more than Two Stepping because I actually enjoy the music being played.

We then, parcelled up, descended the Funicolare to our parked Fiat for the hour and hour trip home.

It was another great, memorable day out.

A Big Day in Panicale....for two reasons!

Firstly, I visited Mara, the ladies hairdresser in the piazza. Thought I wanted regrowth and trim?

Picture shows new Sue back in the piazza enjoying morning coffee. I put it down to "lost in translation", ah, it's Italy!

I must say it was definitely the "quietest" visit to a ladies hairdresser I have ever experienced.
      Mara speaks no English ...
