    ... the way back I finagled my way into being let off at Pisa and buying a ticket for another train back to Florence from there which was much cheaper. I made some good progress on Werle's book while in the train station. The actual towns of Cinque Terre were beautiful.     We visited the Duomo, the large cathedral near the center of the historic town. Set on one side of a square with the town hall and bell tower on the other sides, this huge church dominates the plaza with breathtaking grandeur.     ... a Scottish couple (so nice to speak English again), a glass of wine in the town square, bought a bag from a girl whose best friend has the 'Taste of Italy' restaurant in Oslo.
    In beautiful sun, swam in the Lake then washed my hair to classical music in the beautiful camp bathrooms, before dinner out tonight -although we mostly cook for ourselves - " (ed. its better and cheaper....)
    So, that's it for tonight.
