    ... talking with Chris and Paula, Barbara goes off to the enclave to relax and I came up to our cabin to begin the fulfilling act of starting to pack. Afterwards I went to hear a lecture on an event that happened in 1943 over Bremen Germany. A young b17 pilot flying his first mission after his plane was all shot up and barely able to fly was spared death by a German fighter ace. They met almost 50 years after the mission and became very close friends. They stayed in touch with each other ...

    ... The weather is awesome in the north. Amsterdam can be avoided forever, it's too crazy and smokey. I love Paris, but it has become too much of a tourist town. Vienna and Munich were great but these larger cities has way too many shops. I feel like the is an H&M store at every corner, just like McDonalds. Switzerland was great and so was Salzburg, for the day trips and wish I could have seen more. Maybe one day, I'll get a job traveling the world ...
