Well I have been back for over a week now. This extraordinary experience is beginning to fade now I am in this new chapter.
I am so grateful and humbled by the whole experience. As I spend Christmas with cherished friends and dear family, I realise just how lucky I am.
The support I have had from really wonderful people who are kind and caring also humbles me. This entry is for them to say a huge THANK YOU.

From Delft it was only a short hour on a train to Utrecht. It was dark when we arrived but thankfully the place we were staying in was easy enough to find and in a really good location. Edinburgh to Newcastle and ferry to Amsterdam 28-10-14 Well, as would be expected today I was up bright and early and buzzing with excitement. Cleaned & got myself organised as Neil & family headed off to work + school. Meet Russell for lunch down by the docks for cod & chips = very nice and then for a drive along the coast northwards & actually found some sandy beaches.....
