    ... the car there so we drove the short distance to the Walltown Quarry Carpark. The place was humming as there was a charity walk on for the Alzheimers Society and this was a way station with refreshments. The walkers were doing a 20 mile stretch!. Since that time, through the efforts of volunteers, the garden has been resurrected although not to its original design as Health and Safety issues affect public spaces these days! It's not a large garden and we were very lucky in meeting Dave Peacock and we had a long chat with him.     ... It is now 5pm and we have hit the peak hour traffic. When we get on the ring road it is at a standstill and the rain is pouring down with virtually zero visibility at times.
