You really can't beat the balance of price and comfort at this hotel. Its proximity to Times Square and massive amount of rooms makes this a great choice for tourists to the area. The staff is very helpful and has been willing to go the extra mile to help out if they can. The rooms are quite small.

As the title suggests- it is soooo cold in NY! It rained all day yesterday and was -6 deg, yes that's right neg 6 degrees, today! All I can say is thank God we got our puffy jackets from UNIQLO before we left. And Jane- your jacket has been very handy too! Yesterday we braved the rain and went to the American Museum of Natural History. We saw …

Yesterday was a day of travel- we farewelled Grandma the night before and she left early at 6am- booking a well deserved taxi to the airport rather than having to climb the numerous stairs at the train stations. We loved having Libby with us and she is going to be missed for a week until we see her in Miami- but are glad she gets some peace from …

Day 5: The last attraction I went too was Bronx Zoo, The place was great in that there was so much space for the animals to move around in, even so it wasn't that difficult to see them, there were a few times I couldn't see anything but it was a good view. When I went the weather was perfect not a single cloud in the sky, the animals were great fun …

Day 3: The first attraction I went to was the Empire State Building, It was undoubtedly one of greatest experience of my life, The only thing more spectacular than looking up from the streets of "the greatest city in the world" is standing at the top and looking down. But before I went to The Empire State Building I stopped at McDonald's and got a …
