... Turned out the café was the choice of the locals as they all started piling in once we got our meal and it was full by the time we left. Good choice! Back in Cambrills the wind was still howling so much so it was making Val's eyes water. Another afternoon in Scooby reading our books. Tomorrow we are heading south to outrun the wind!
Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands darrenhough74The plan was to go to a little village on the outskirts of Tarragona - Altafulla but it didn't really tickle our fancy and nothing open so went a bit further south to Cambrills. On arrival I noticed that there were some waves off the beach which were probably surfable. As we drove further along the beach the waves got bigger and then I saw a few guys out there surfing. Excellent!!! I pulled over and said I was going in and the girls would have to occupy themselves ...
Riumar, Catalonia, Spain debdeb80... 8 mois!).
Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands ulrich_massen... back. At this point the parents of the boy came over and put a nappy on him.
A few hours later I managed to drag myself from the floor where i had lay laughing since the incident. We then found a nice bridge to sleep under which happened to smell like ****, be infestd with rats, and was incredibly noisy from the people walking above. Sleeping aint easy for free. Homeless have it hard man.
We woke up with ALL of our stuff after having a hassle free night. Well, apart from the surronding gays and tractors. We spent a majority of the day chilling on the beach playing kick the bean bag and a new game called shirt ball.
Me and Alex invented shirt ball as a way of cleaning our t-shirts in the sea without getting bored. The rules are simple, you basically tie a tshirt up in to a small ball and throw it at each other as ...
Last day climbing, can't believe it and no hard ticks to my name. Frustrating and very down about going home. Start off with 6a+ (Pixapins), and 6b+ (Extremoduro - the old reliable route that some of you will know :) in Sector Can Marges. The lads aren't as motivated today (the HUGE dinner the night before isn't helping :). Down to Sector Campi Qui Puigi for my first time ever. Try a 7b ...
Siurana, Spain mcquain2... quite a large city. We parked the car in a dusty parking lot in Mansera Sud and set off in a vain quest for ladies' shoe shops. Mansera, or what we saw of it, was a dump. Driving out of the town was a lot more difficult than driving into it had been. There were no signs directing us back to Montserrat and after negotiating the inevitably narrow streets and taking an exit that took us in completely the wrong direction we were forced to make a U-turn ...
