          ... along the promenade to find ice cream, unfortunately, Lorna managed to kick a lump of concrete in her flip flops and the concrete won!! A nasty lump out of the end of her pinky which has meant a bit of limping and lots of germolene and salt baths to try and sort it out!!           ... time so the plan was just to sleep in the car park outside and check in first thing. The security guard did actually let us in just inside the site to another car park which was good if him as this meant we could sleep with the doors open without any worries which we have to do as it gets so hot in the van with them closed.. After a quick shower on the site, we hit the hay at around 3am!! It had been a long long day and we were definitely ready for bed!! Night night!! ...

          ... but this white was simply beyond compare. It was as good as he remembered, and the three of us were in love at first sip. The other wines we sampled -- all red -- were good, but the white was the clear stand-out. He explained that the white comes from a very small number of "ancient vines," on the oldest portion of his families vineyards, which are scattered throughout the valley. As such, he was only able to produce 497 bottles of this wine. For comparison ...

          ... Scotland attempted late last year. Every local we encountered in the area, literally, was talking about the vote, and we learned that the prevalence of Catalan flags everywhere was tied to an organized "get-out-the-vote" effort. I found it all fascinating.

          ... in front of the rear right wheel. There was a tear in the plastic which was filled with red tile chips and dust. I laughed out loud as I used my fingers to fish out the chunks, and then used a water bottle to wash the red away. I now had three days to worry whether the car rental folks would notice the damage or not.
