... seaweed that was really dense. At first I thought they were sea eggs.

The highlight of the day would have to be the herd of about 40 goats that crossed the road in front of us. Every goat had a large bell around its neck and the music from these bells was amazing. It was like someone was playing the xylophone! We stopped and listened for about ten minutes. Some of the larger goats were standing on their hind legs and eating out of the trees!

... s on the way back to port. The winding streets are a bit of a maze, apparently designed that way so that pirates who frequented the islands would get confused and the locals could easily trap them in the city walls and kill or capture than. It was a hot day so after walking around for about 1 hour we found ourselves in little Venice which was cute with white wash houses and colourful seats and doors we ...

... Venetian castle, called Kasteli. We walk along the edge of the port, which is filled with many colourful fishing boats, and occasionally we pass by fishermen unloading their catch, their skin sun-kissed from the long days on the water. We walk along a narrow ledge, which could have once been the top of the walls, to an archway that brings us into an open area and into another world. The Mediterranean sun casts its rays onto the stone walls and wraps ...
