... once again we don't want to actually give money to English Heritage and clamber the ruins, but just to get an overview of the promontory the castle is situated on. So we carry on past the entrance, a little further coming on an enormous stucco mansion called 'Camelot Castle Hotel'. Some of you will be chuckling knowingly at this point, but we had no idea. Dear all, We are in Plymouth tonight and head off to Stone Henge (again) and then to London. Totally adequate, but noise from the adjacent bar. But fully functional wifi - worked straight away, good signal. Soon we were both at war! We were soon down in the bar, acclimatising! Good wifi signal again. Sitting outside, a slight chill in the air but warm enough at ...

We were up early and looking for an iPad but couldn't find one. Luckily Catherine got up not long after and made us breakfast. Eventually Dad joined us and later Mum and Phil got up.

Phil was ringing the bells at the Church next door so we went and watched. It looked easy. I wanted to have a go but apparently you need to practise how to do it.

After that we went home and Phil made us bacon and eggs for everyone, so we had a second breakfast.

    When we were ...
