We left our lovely lake and drove out of Austria into Italy through some Alps which was once again amazing. It was a wonderful drive and more amazingly it felt like it should be cold but the air was already warm when you put your hand out the window. ... he was eager to learn. Dusan our pool man booked dinner for us under his name at a local restaurant in the next village Piran, organised bikes for us to ride there and made sure we were charged local prices. Oh and did I say the A/C in the room works a treat.

I am so glad we moved otherwise my perception of Slovenia and its people would have been totally different. It went from rude and arrogant to happy and friendly.
