... mineral springs continuously flow and people just walk up and fill up their cups. I decided to take it slow and only get a small amount. Turns out it was the right call. It was gross. My last cup was at the geyser - it shoots 12 meters in the air and they have totally enclosed it in glass. After that we walked down the street and had lunch. ... than having to ride out someone else's hip thrusts on a top bunk. They were throwing the covers back and making sexual demands of eachother, the most aggressive thing I could think to do was to do a middle class cough and jangle by bracelets, that didn't hinder, only provided a sound track to their filthy fumblings. ... decided to have lunch. As they had lunch the weather just became darker and colder and the rain was getting heavier with thunder rumbling. If someone says, Germany is a flat country, they never biked through there. I crossed the "Fichtelgebirg", the little "Erzgebirge", plus heaps of hills not specially mentioned, but with all my luggage at least challenging.
After passing the town of Hof, I then came to the boarder Bayern /Sachsen .
I did take little notice at the sign there, that until November 12th 1989, Germany and Europe were divided at that point.
