The ruined castle at Tintagel is only about 35 miles from Clovelly. Along the way we passed through Boscastle, which I have only seen on television, usually with a terrifying flood ripping through the middle of village and rescue helicopters hovering overhead. ... from the off. An hour in we stopped at a cafe to con us into buying food. Had it not been for this we would have been at the hotel in time for food! We stayed on the coach. In the afternoon we did a treasure hunt with Catherine. She did one for us and we did one for her. It was really fun until Maddy's big mouth wrecked it. Catherine thought I was getting tired so I had a bath and then got to watch a movie before dinner.
