      ... a banya (ok, relatable) and ends up accidentally catching a flight to St Petersburg and falls in love with the girl who owns the flat of the same address, which he breaks into thinking it's his (the joke being that Soviet architecture wasn't very imaginative so the same flats, with the same locks in the same streets were built in every city). I would come to agree with this more and more later on with every new city along the railway, that did begin to run into one another.

      ... together and the fact we had a common language. They are from Italy, Spain and Algeria .

      The city I am in now, is the 5th largest one in Russia, with 1.25 million people. It is along the river Wolga, my first impression: very beautiful.
      Had not a chance yet to make pic at daylight, looks nice at night too.

      11 June 2014: We departed Suzdal this morning by having the hostel reserve a cab for the early trip. The ride back to Vladimir, where we would catch a train, was an experience. Our driver, dressed in the ubiquitous Adidas track suit, turned the radio up loudly to make sure we could all hear the awful Russian pop music coming from the speakers.       ... we started to interact with the locals. Apparently the two lower bunks and the berth next door were full of a family traveling. Suddenly we were surrounded by four kids wanting to play cards. Jamie played while I snapped pictures. By far the coolest kid was obviously the one with the Gravedigger T-shirt. After a couple hours it got pretty old, eventually everyone went to sleep and we were riding the Transib in peace.
