We started today with a walk around the former military base, Kastellet. It was a beautiful, cold day, and the military based is essentially a big park with moat-like canals around it. It even had an old-fashioned windmill! We walked along the waterfront to Den Lille Havfrue, the Little Mermaid statue. ... back to the hotel to rest our feet. In the evening we wandered around the hotel neighbourhood to find some food and ended up at a wonderful Vietnamese restaurant that I have to recommend. It is called Bonjour Vietnam Cafe & Restaurant on Vesterbrogade 44. The restaurant has a very warm atmosphere, the prices are reasonable and the service was excellent.
