... safe and sound. I took Pat home and I came home and settled in for the night to get a good nights rest as I had to usher at Mass on Sunday Morning. After Mass I went to bid Father Burns goodbye as he was retiring and what did he say to me? " I heard you dance all night long." Leslie sure has a big mouth. All in all I had a great weekend.

... to the engine viewing room. The engine sure is impressive! It really does work on steam and is fuelled by oil. Those two main pistons are HUGE! At 4.30 there was a Dixie land Jazz performance by the boat's band. It was really excellent and very much enjoyed by all. The trumpet player was particularly good. ... restaurant was filled with local artists’ paintings and the food was really good. I had a Shrimp Poboy (in our neck of the woods, it would be called a sub) and a Corn and Shrimp soup which was heavenly spiced and rich in cream.
