... 1 way tickets on the little train that takes you 1000m up the mountain. My internet research suggested it might take 2 hours to get down, but as the train took 35 minutes to get up it seemed that it may be a little bit of a bigger hike down than we suspected. ... to make yet another unpleasant experience for me!!! The very best I have seen thus far, was the car, driver, and Robert Knapp, in Paris!!!! He was absolutely superb, and the best person to represent this agency. They are very fortunate to have such a wonderful, kind, considerate, attentive employee. He corrected 3 complete sets of incorrect train tickets, and helped to make the incorrect accommodations at the George V, in Paris, as least livable. Thank you so ...

... that you're in the furtherest place away - but as a consolation the 30 degree heat, and beauty of Biarritz ain't too shabby!!! I couldn't sleep, I was heading off about 11.30, but felt an earthquake, that was it, I was thinking tsunami's. then about 1.15am still awake I felt another. Now to be fair I don't know if they were actually earthquakes or me drifting off and my sub conscious feeling for those in Welly, and in Chch before them, but I was sorting out our escape ...

... the Basque restaurants in the San Joaquin Valley. To my dismay, not one bartender I asked, and there we a lot of them, knew what I was talking about :( One bartender did explain rather well in English, that there is a Basque concoction, an orange bitter apertif, that is possibly the base of this cocktail.
