... we had a great coastal walk, in search of la Vierge sur le rocher. We stopped at a café for hot drinks and directions. In addition to the directions, the owners offered us crêpes to share-we got to try their caramel, sugar, nutella and chocolate crêpes. Sweet! :) We had dinner on the way back to the hotel. ... 15kms from here. Many people had told us that is was better than Biarritz, a bit less touristy etc, but I am not in that camp. It is really nice, but a bit Miami for my liking. Like the rest of the beaches we have come across they know how to pack them in, but I will take Biarritz every day of the week. Definitely have to come back here again in the not to distant future.

... were more than 700 Australians. Together with Rome and Jerusalem, it is one of the 3 great religious pilgrimages you can do. We just saw it as a great way to see an amazing country and a fun hike!
