... is huge, the other side seemed miles away, plenty of room for kite surfers who had their own beach. One of the reasons its popular with them must be the safety aspect as the water never got higher than your waist. ... decided to go on this trip a few weeks ago because Dana was telling us how beautiful Biarritz is and we wanted to go to the beach. It was a great decision. ... 22/5. Woke up to more heavy rain. Had breakfast at our hotel - rain eased a little so we headed to old part of the city to explore. Guy decided to climb up to the statue on the hill while I did an inspection of the retail part of town. ... panoramic view of the city up there and we managed to get some great photos to show just how beautiful the area is. Seeing as we'd had a relatively cheap day by the beach, we decided to keep it that way and grabbed a kebab for dinner. Always a winner!
