Beautiful sunset and a great meal at a fish taverna to start the holiday. Weather is hot and sunny for ...

... kicked off the day with the hotel breakfast buffet out on the patio. It is invigorating to eat crepes, eggs, bacon, and true Greek yogurt in bright sunshine overlooking the Aegean Sea. The gentle sea breeze, however, turned into a steady but warm wind that was to stay throughout the day.
After a quick trip to the front desk to set up our cab ride to the ferry port tomorrow, By 11:00 am we were heading out to the beach....on our way we decided to give a quick look to the ...

... the windmills. We had a map but got lost. After asking directions, we found them quickly though.

After, we went shopping through the very narrow alleyways that we briefly thought were pedestrian only because they were so small but there were a lot of little delivery trucks and scooters using these "roads".

The stores were mainly filled with tacky souvenirs and were overpriced so the only purchase made was Mel’s usual shot glasses.
