Change yourself by Ed Hardy clothing

Back Home

When we replied "no", he knowingly said "You will be back! See you next year!"

What could we say??!

Maybe he knows something we don't....

... need and buying things I may never use but its better to be prepared....I think. Now I'm home there are lots of people to catch up with, need to see as much of all you lovely folk as I can before I go.

Well...the entries will get a bit more exciting from now on, just thought I should give this a go at home rather than working it out in an internet cafe in Bangkok. 6 hours of traveling later...

We arrive at Stansted at about 8pm and proceed to have a, probably, day old burger somewhere in the airport. Yum. Turns out that all the shops, in the departure lounge and outside, close at about 9pm so we have to sit around for 4 hours before our flight boards with nada to do.

Finally we get on the flight with a load of other backpacker types and head to Malaysia!

Into the eye of the storm?

... the Petronas Towers and in a popular tourist area. It was comfortable enough with a fantastic Malaysian breakfast which set me up for the day.

There was very little Tv coverage of the storms so at least where I am there are not problems. I shall stay in KL for a few days and then make my way to Thailand

FOOTNOTE I would recommend Air Asia which has an extensive network in the region. However do not dismiss Malaysian Airlines. ka i

The one with the love for open-top buses.

... in Cambridge we were driven into town by the Scott boys and given a bit of a tour. Well, they weren't all that enthusiastic about the history of the town so it was more just a walk but it was very nice. Dean and I love how English the town is and Dean did comment that he felt like he was 'in Harry Potter!' We wandered around the beautiful old colleges and their green grounds and felt like we were missing out on something being at boring old grey ...

Cambridge to Norfolk

... the locals being the most friendliest people I've met since Australia; the fantastic University buildings; the Weeping Willows drinking from the river; the diversity of it's market (Caribbean cakes for dinner!) and just a nice ambiance about the place. Can't rate it enough...and a 100% better than it's rival, Oxford, which we visited soon after for work reasons ...

Climbing Volcanoes, Glacier trekking and oh yeh packing up tents at some unearthly time in the morning in the rain, cold and wind. Hmmmm Well that's all now, 3 months to go. Did I mention that truck?
