We found our way back into the city for our planned afternoon visit to the Royal Palace Museum just in time to join an English speaking guide for a tour of the palace treasury. Once again a great guide giving an enjoyable and informative tour. The Swedish crown jewels were beautiful and have an interesting history.

... to the Vasa Museum, which we heard was great. Vasa was the name of a ship that was very beautifully decorated, elaborate wood ship. Its claim to fame is that it actually sank in the harbor 20 minutes after launching. It sank because when it was built, it was not very well balanced, and a strong wind blew all the water in the portholes in the lower section of the ship.

The ferry docked in Stockholm at 6.00am - I wasn't feeling great for some reason so we basically got to Stockholm Central station, sat down in McDonald's and I slept for an hour like a homeless person!
