Our first stop is Nessebar, a quiet little port in Bulgaria. The seaside town is a mix of old and new. On one side of the harbor we see modern hotels and, on the other, there are remnants of buildings from the Roman period. Highlights that come to mind are Jamie's pants being blown off the line during the night. Then in the morning heading out to the market to buy a fishing rod to reel them back in and succeeding!

The small hotel in Ecebat, the Villa Casa, was delightful and it had wonderful garden where we ate a small picnic supper after the very nice fish lunch we had. After a warm night spent in the garden drinking the local wine (the Sulva vineyard was 300m from the house) and very good too....
