We waited in Taiwan for a 3 hour layover and then we flew to Bangkok. When we arrived went though security and all the typical stuff. Finally the email came telling us we could pick up our passports from the Indian visa office so yesterday we came back to Bangkok. I couldn't quite believe we had the visas and today we are flying to Chennai! We were actually really enjoying Thailand so we think we'll come back another time, but now let the Indian adventure begin!
After I finally had the Cup of Shin Ramyun Instant noodles I carried around for the last month and a half for breakfast I went to the Metro station and to the Vietnamese Embassy. The procedure was quick but the fee surprised me a little. The 30day Visa for Vietnam costs 3000 Baht (73€) and was going to be ready in two days.
Well, I would have to live a bit on the cheap for a couple of days to get back into the budget zone. ...

So off we went to explore the China Town area further but we both found it difficult to find food to suit our appetites. We are both willing to try new things but when everything on the menu is either boiled sea cucumber, fried ducks tongue or sliced pig stomach, you really need to expand your search!
