Just enough time to freshen up - went to the lounge & got to have a shower in a lovely private bathroom. Went to the main bathroom to shave which had attendants hovering around obviously anxious to tidy up after you which felt a bit strange - but did not have the heart to ask them to back off a bit. The Lounge is massive but the food options a bit unusual & limited - no comparison to Sydney.

... The inside was very beautiful with a two-story waterfall and several atriums. There were stores from all over the world. It was interesting to see the mix of new and old with the men dressed in robes and head dresses and the Burka-clad women but carrying Armani bags, toting Chanel handbags, going into a Build a Bear.

Afternoon consisted of a small boat ride across the river in a local abra and cost 1 dirham. Then some lunch along the water and a quick rest before our desert safari.
