... they flashed past the car window were elephant seals sunning on the beach (the rain had finally passed). ... Its beef, seasoned mostly with salt, pepper, lots of garlic and grilled over a wood or charcoal fire. The favorite way to serve this tasty meat is sliced on French or Sourdough bread. Bbq sauce or salsa is the condiment of choice. I had my first Tri Tip Sandwich over 10 years ago while visiting my friends Terry and Toni Clark and its something you just find out here in Cali.
... Obispo county is a great little place, not sure if it is the happiest place on earth or even the fourth happiest but it "sure is nice". Would definitely stop off in Pismo, Shell or Grover Beach if ever we were passing this way again. Tomorrow morning we head further up Highway One and really get to the most scenic part of our journey. Can't wait, it will be so exciting.

... I had looked around everything it was back down in the bus and meet up with Marlene in the visitor's centre. She had picked up lunch for us while I was on the tour (from a nearby village). ... we rented a couple of carts and the girls drove along for the ride as Michael and I tangled with the course. Fortunately, the course is not very long, and you really don't care what your score is because the place is just so damn beautiful (although for the record, I did birdie one of the holes!) Just another day in Morro Bay ...
