... This wasn't the confidence boost we needed. However, it turned out to be a lot tamer than we had thought. Once off the tram you walk straight into Mexico, no border control or anything. We walked about ten minutes into Tijuana where we went to a bar for some margaritas. After here, we went to a bigger bar where we had some more margaritas and some food. Our final day in Baja Mexico with our dear friends Salvadore and Yolanda. We spent a lovely day having a tour in their four wheeled drive around Primo Tapia, their local area. Went to a local bar and had a few drinks then back for the amazing sunset on their verandah.
We will definitely miss their hospitality and friendship.
Yolanda made me two very nice tops to wear on the rest of the trip.
    Hasta luego dear ...

... Hunger Games at the movies. I really liked it but Ross wasnt so keen. We walked around Historic Old Town for a spring festival and a stroll around the markets.

Next day we headed to the Air and Space Museum in Balboa Park - it was pretty average. Some cool planes and the Apollo 9 space hub which was cool to see. But for the price it wasnt really worth it. The park is nice though. We headed back ...

... my husband was told to go to the pool area to the towel clerk. He told them he had already checked there. Then he was told that they were being washed and he would have to wait. This was only our second day at this HORRIBLE HOTEL! In addition, the air conditioning in our room DID NOT WORK. If you plan on going to Rosarito—stay in a hotel in San Diego and cross the border to visit, but don’t stay at Rosarito Beach ...
