    ... border we'd seen on the trip with nice buildings and signs telling you where to go. Papers and stamps all went through fine but the bag searching was funny. They has this button you had to press and if it turned green then you were fine, but randomly it goes red and then your the one to get your bag searched. Obviously they chose . . . . not me :) I was so happy, they normally always get me but nope, Mexico likes me. All made it through safe and sound and then we had a small 20 ...

    We were now off to Playa del Carmen, and it was as simple as grabbing the local shuttle bus that ferried people up and down the Yucatan peninsular for as little as $4 each. So we arrived in town, grabbed a cab from the shuttle bus station and were driver to our accommodation, that genius Amanda had once again found. A cute large studio, with air-conditioning, cable TV, full kitchen and full lounge - we were in heaven again!
