      ... arrival and we both walked over to see what needed to be done and to pay the bill. Everything is walking distance at this end of town....although no one seems to walk...just us. Ron spent about an hour emptying the fresh water tanks as they had been sitting for over a week. He had to chlorinate the tank, empty it again and then fill with clean water....kind of time consuming...and then we spent an hour or so unloading the hotel room ...

      ... are going to need to find some accommodations in Bracebridge for sleeping as our RV was our bedroom (and closet!!!) Any takers? We will be in constant contact with this service centre here in Williston to check on the repair status and plan to cut our post Muskoka travel plans short and head back here to pick up our RV...and then head for home. And I thought we might have a really boring blog this ...

      ... I'm more of a North Dakota sort of guy. For some reason North Dakota feels much more like home. Go figure. Today we drove all day. We went from Bemidgi, MN. to Williston, ND. That's pretty much the full width of North Dakota. The weather was a bit cooler today and the Mini ran just fine all day. Highway 2 has become a four lane divided road.       ... the car creates as it moves through the air. We made it back to Williston in time to have dinner at Famous Dave's but not without some damage. An oil field truck kicked up a large rock the put a big chip in our windshield right in my line of sight. This will be the second road trip that will end with a new windshield. Other than the steam train I did not take any pictures today. I think Mary has one or two that she can add. ...

      We left our rundown trailer park in Boom town Williston, North Dakota. Unbelievable how many trucks and oil drills. The unemployment rate is 3%. They are second only to Texas as oil producers. All of this production happened in the last five years due to fracking. We have all had fun with the word fracking especially Santiago who asked a girl clerk about it and ...
