Walking with elephants
... school that on site had a primary and secondary school and took pupils from all around the mountains. They sort of put on a little show for us really; bracelet making, dancing, drink making, etc but I spose its a good way of making money for the school (though Layla did find a load of ants at the bottom of her iced coffee!) I made a bracelet to add to the collection (the one from each country seems to have turned into one from each place!), got an iced coffee minus ants ...
One night in Bangkok
... then the bustling city or the typical thai spots like the islands or Phuket. Wrong. This place is literally packed with tourists. The city center, a convenient square of about 1,5 km that used to be a fort surrounded by a city wall, contains guesthouses, restaurants, cafés, massage parlors and laundry places, and that’s it. Our singing/rapping/interpretative dance skills ...
The mile high leech club..
... track we were just on (where the hell did it go anyway – did you see a turn off?) . But having travelled in the vertical about 200m and the horizontal about a k or so, in about 2 minutes, we are not keen to retrace (even if it were possible). And anyways, we think we are still on the track after all.... Well, we weren’t. We were on a track, but not the track. To this day Ive still no idea where we went wrong, but we certainly left the intended path somewhere ...
