Jacob Kramer, a Jewish artist born in Ukraine, has several paintings featured in the museum. Kramer and his family were forced to flee Ukraine in 1900 following a series of vicious anti-Semitic laws that were brought in by Tsar Nicholas II.

... trip was relaxing, beautiful countryside. Arrived in Berlin train station caught taxi to our motel Melia,, was upgraded to the 7th floor, very nice room, settled in and went down to the motel bar for a few drinks, sat outside, weather was beautiful, had tapas for nibbles, chorizo sausages, potato dumplings and calamari. Went for a walk around the corner found a Italian restaurant, had schnitzel for tea. 18th August, Sunday Patsys birthday, up early to breaky, breakfast ...
