... unwind and relax! Again we were treated to the most amazing hospitality and Joke is an amazing cook / host! That night we were treated to a 3 course meal, pear and bacon for a starter, salmon for dinner and yogurt sundaes for dessert! Talk about amazing! The next day we took a tour to Delft, the home of delft blue. We started the day with an awesome canal tour, where we learnt about the canals in delft/Holland it was so interesting and something we both really wanted to do so yay ticked ...

The electric here is only 6 amps so no washing machine, hot water or hoover. We were told that the marina owned now by the council is up for a 30 year lease and the new lease holder will upgrade the marina moorings with a new harbour office with all facilities and also the power and WiFi.

In this instance, it was Mustard. Mustard you can find in the most small town corner shops in the UK. SHE HAD TO BUY IT! ...

Day 12 - Ypres, In Flanders Fields

Our last day on the cruise. Up early for our full day tour to Ypres, in Flanders Fields only to find that the ship was running two hours late. Apparently there were strong winds and currents during the night (didn't feel a thing on board) so instead of leaving at 9am we didn't leave until 11am. Fortunately we were given a 30% discount on the tour as there were some places we wouldn't be able to visit and the ones we did would be limited in time.

... again seeing as the wind is still howling even though it is less and on the way back went into the clubhouse where it was all decorated out in Orange ready for the big football match tonight. 6pm John went over to see what the atmosphere was like. He saw the 1st 20mins and the Denmark goal. We later went for a lovely walk along the coast along the dyke.

When we got back to the marina, we said goodbye ...
