Today I bus to Frankfurt. I've been there before a long time ago when I worked for Penguins doing the book fair. I'd seen a little of the city then but it has grown in stature since and is more of a financial hub. It laden with foreigners it's not unlikeable though and has a lively atmosphere. Also every cab here is a Mercedes. As you would expect 90%+ of the cars are German makes. They also buy way more station wagons.
Hope you enjoyed!
