When we planned this trip, we didn't really look too much into the place, thinking of it only as a stepping stone from Thailand to Singapore. Our departure from Sydney was delayed and our arrival was delayed by about 30 minutes. The ticket machine is now a distant memory!

... spoke reasonable English; Andre understood but was not able to speak English. Of course our Swedish was very useful in sorting out the situation !! (Not !!) As we found out, they were both originally from Poland but had moved to Sweden about 30 years ago. The good news was, they did not get lost and they found us at dinner so we had another good chat with them. It is why we enjoy cruising meeting people like them.
