a start to the day! I tried for hours to get hold of the shuttle company. Herb
and Judy arrived at the hotel after waiting around at the airport for the
others to arrive. Maryln arrived about an hour later, her plane having been
delayed for an hour and a half.

... 17 euro to get in here we weren't happy. And we barely had the money for it as well but somehow we all got in. When we got in, the place was half empty... GREAT! so we were all kind of annoyed that we just paid 17 to get in and it sucked. So we refused to stay there and decided to go to Opium which we heard was awesome. Some reason, we went back to our apartment and by that time it was probably 3:30. Paige, Emily and I still wanted to go out so we took a cab back out to Opium ...

It was almost 3 pm when we finally paused for lunch at a restaurant just off La Rambla. The food was nice but the prices were twice they would be anywhere else. Lesson learned. I enjoyed the gazpacho and pasta with mushrooms and probably won't eat again today!!!!

... to some carrot cake which was really nice. My family enjoyed having tea and snacks here. After our revival snack we were called for the emergency talk with our muster station situated in the Blu restaurant. It was kinda cool as we have never been in there before so I took some photos. ... we don’t get the impression of how bad things are.
Food is good and our best meal is one of tapas and beer we eat at midday closer to the business centre. We expect 4 smallish tapas but we are served 4 large and tasty plates plus all the fresh bread we want. The thinly sliced and fried artichokes are especially more-ish. We roll out of the café pleased that our lack of Spanish isn’t impacting on our waist-lines J
