No complaints about the hostel. It's clean, well-located and the staff are very friendly (for the most part) and helpful. Don't miss breakfast - it's really good, catering for various diets from Western-style breakfasts (though don't expect any croissants) to Thai breakfasts - definitely a must!
The air conditioning is a godsend!

Excellent stay, cheap, clean, good breakfast and not far from Kao San Road, though quiet.

just off the noisy main streets. nice, clean place (though no roof view), friendly staff, free wifi, and a phantastic breakfast buffet included in the room price (fresh fruits, mueslis, eggs, strong coffee and asian dishes to choose from)

Having learnt a lesson from Bangkok to Chiang Mai about the lights being on all night I had my sleep mask to hand and was fully prepared. The only problem was I was on the top bunk this time and it was FREEZING! It kept me awake most of the night but not awake enough to get up and put on some more clothes. After breakfast and a slight delay we were …

The day was clearly split into two parts, the first part of which was spent sightseeing around Wat Pho, a temple which contains The Reclining Buddha, the largest Buddha in the world at 42m long. Wat Pho is a lovely place to visit, but it is full of Buddhas, about 400 of them. Understandably, by the end I was all Buddha'd out and was in danger of …
