... chez nous; Michel and Nicole from Liege, who have a summer home opposite us; and Christian and Micheline, friends of Alain, from Toulon. Breakfast over, we all went of to have a surprise massage. All the boys together in one room, all the girls in another, for nearly two hours. Being me, I chose to stay and read by the pool. At 12.15 walking through the foyer I was accosted by a stranger I didn't recognise, or understand. Eventually he got through to me and ...

... city are not great, It lacks parks and culture but worst of all is full of Ugly Western older men with Thai girls less than half their age hanging of their arm. Ashlee has learn't about Ladyboys throughout our trip (and had previously encountered one in Fiji as her hair braider) so we were playing a little game - spot the Ladyboy! We didn't want to stay out to late with the red lights cranking up and us both being tired so returned to hotel and watched a movie in ...

... 2 flights, how sad, all this way to miss out on the final part just because UKtoOZ (Karen) have been so slow with any updates and so inflexible

Their policy seems to be ’We did it this way last year, so we are doing it this way this year and if you don’t like it, you lump it’

Even this policy has been extended to hostels and camp sites, no matter that they have changed, they may have changed hands, got closed or the campsite just isn’t there any ...

    Life in "Luton Town", Thailand

... with a sight-seeing tour of the local surrounds. After a promising and disaster free hour or so (give or take the odd Bambi-esque wobble), we had left one of the countless small roadside markets which line most of the roads here and were heading for food when I felt a sudden loss of control as the back wheel snaked around and I fought to bring us to a quick stop, realising the back wheel had punctured. It is testament to my slightly enhanced skills that neither of us ...
