... about the CFA... well the motivation was big, the time was little and distractions numerous. I mentioned to do some stuff but by far not as much as I should have... isn't it always like that when the exam is still 4 months away? :P

Like this 3 weeks of our Emerging Market Class have passed in an instant. The whole journey culminated in a Safari to Kruger National Park and also a visit to a private game reserve. Again – separate story :).

... myself more than I should have. I can honestly say that I have not missed work in the past six weeks but miss some of the great people I worked with. Only now can I say that whilst I have always slept deeply for short periods of time, I am now sleeping longer and feel better for it. ... and the animals looked well treated. The park has two of the only clouded leopards in Africa, who were out cold when we peaked a look into their enclosure. Large cats sleep on average 20 hours a day!

The park had a few birds - secretary birds, which prefer to walk than fly and flamingos. We watched the secretary birds pace around their enclosure, all business like. They are adaptly named.

There was a jaguar which was frankly terrifying. Powerful ...
