Had a good trip yesterday, the majority of it was on the A75 which is dual carriageway, unfortunately using local roads would have taken far too long. The road was fairly quiet but as the altitude increased so did the thickness of fog which we were in for about 30 miles then we were back in brilliant sunshine. We became tragic tourists and travelled on the tourist road train which went for an hour and did a great job of travelling the extremely narrow streets , past some beautiful crystal clear coves and exclusive houses onto the site of ...

... water seemed pretty warm and we tried to guess what it was we settled on 23C, a January sea temperature in Oman. I went off to interrogate the life guard and was surprised to discover it was only 19C; it must have been a heck of a lot lower in Brittany. After swims and naps we headed home to make a birthday supper for Phil.
