... left late & ate up 14 mins. So we only had 2 mins to make the connection. Believe me it was just like in amazing race, as we made the 100 yard dash, at a sprinters pace to make the connection. Marilyn was about 30 yards behind as I got to the train. She was worried that I was going to leave her behind. Would I do that?

... Larry, Derek and Erin left to go into town to find the Zillertal Brewery - they found two of them - the old one on the main street in the town centre and the new one on the edge of town. Then they went to the Arena Coaster which is an Alpine Coaster on the hillside. We can see it from our apartment. ... We headed back to the Hotel Gosthof Brau for supper. Tonight Erin had Grostl, Derek had Schnitzle Cordon Bleu, and Larry and I shared a Brauhautfand'l and I had a mixed salad. For dessert we shared one apple strudel. When we got back I got two loads of laundry ready and went down to do it but the laundry was locked. Bummer! We all blogged etc. while listening to German music we brought with us. Then it was time for bed.

A travel blog entry by rolandandlinda on Sep 18, 2014

Time to leave Valle Verde. Decided to give Austria
another try as we are hearing that the weather has improved. However, with low
cloud this morning, there is little point in going over the high Dolomite
      passes.

Decided to go north through Moena and then west over a lower
pass to Bolzano. As expected, the low cloud made for little viewing of the
      mountain peaks.

Went north to Bressanone but stayed on a ...
