Caught train with Stephen and Will out to Linhai to see the 'Great Wall', supposed to be second to the 'Great Wall' at Beijing. In fact a City Wall. We walked up to the wall and then walked along for a fair distance, but it was pouring with rain. You could actually walk all around it in 2.5 hours but we went off to find ...
... to come and pray! There are several buildings, monks here and there in their simple brown outfits, lots of Buddhas, and beautiful gardens! There are Cyprus trees everywhere and many huge old magnolia trees in full bloom. The place smelled just wonderful and just filled you with a sense of peace. A great way to start our day! Good to be at peace . . . :-)

... During that weekend, we ate very well, there were a lot of fruits and nuts, and the meals Barry's parents cooked for us were plentiful. I also tasted the best 炒面 (Chao Mian, or fried noodles) I've ever had. When I thought the weekend couldn't get any better, we were served Chinese tea, and it was definitely the greatest tasting tea I've ever tasted.

We are both in Ningbo for the rest of the week visiting all three of our centres.
