All in all we had a really fun time on all of our day-trip adventures while Barb and Carly were here! It was sad but interesting to learn about the victims of the Third Reich, but also indescribable to see Königssee and the Eagle's Nest. I would definitely recommend seeing all of it if you ever get the opportunity to visit Germany!

We were so happy to see such gorgeous mountains and get out of the city even for just a day. We spent our entire time in awe of Mother ...

The the motel we're in we get meals included so after a nice breakfast we set out for the day. First stop was at Sigmund - ...

... at a place called Oedberg and it is known as the 'Oedberg-Flizzer'. The sleds are single person operated and are attached to a mono rail that covers nearly 1.5km of track winding down the side of a hill 150m high. This might not seem much, but believe us when we tell you it is amazing! Because you are so low to the ground you feel like you are in a F1 race car as you twist and turn down the mountainside. We had a fantastic time doing multiple runs, ...
