    Well we were up at 6:30 to get ready to leave...had a a bit of Meusli and milk and walked downto the Sentier Metro station ......arrived at Opera station and walked around Palais Garnier(the Opera) to the Roissy bus to CDG.     ... and Aigle, a nice little village at the bottom of the mountain. For much of our trip we were sandwiched between Lake Geneva (or Lake Laman) and vine-laden hills. From Aigle an old style cog train took us up the steep mountainside to Leysin. The Singer boys had worked there in the winter of 1974/75.
