... we ended up riding up and up and up and up until we finally decided
that we had obviously missed something and turned round again. We reached the
bottom of the hill and lo and behold we found the elusive turnoff. Without
hesitation we started out on the “Witch Route” only to find that it headed up
and up and up on a different route to the same place, only this time it was
along a walking trail through the forest and was twice as steep. So we ended up
