    ... to go into the water to clean up. It was pretty cold but on such a hot day it felt nice. We hung out on the sand bar and played in the waves. I forgot how salty ocean water is.     ... too, has been closed for some time while a new entrance was built. Our landlady described it as looking like a bathtub. That's probably a bit harsh. But what did impress us was NZ artist Peter Robinson's large work 'Operation: Do you speak Dutch' Dutch?' in a very prominent position at the top,of the stairs as you walk up from the entrance.     The body clock can not be fooled all the time so I did not sleep well.
    We left early for our 5 hour tour of the north country. Double decker bus, nearly every seat full. The skies clear and we are hot. I dressed for spring! It is nearly 20 degrees above normal.     ... direction to the center city. Can I just say I was so AMAZED at how great the Dutch speak English. I barely heard an accent and at some points I had to question if they were even really Dutch. Very impressing.
