... skies. The bike rental shop opened at 9:00 and, miraculously, I held myself back from being that woman in the classic Mervyn's commercial, tapping on the doors and chanting, "Open. Open. Open."

Winding my way along the back roads, bike route map in hand, I pedaled the 12 km to Keukenhof. Passing the daffodil and hyacinth fields, I was wishing I could find a way to transport the smell to all of you. Heavenly!

It is so very easy to get around ...

Officially our last full day in Europe, we were out and about around 10.30am, and went exploring for breakfast. We went to a part of the town not far from our hotel that we have yet to explore. We were looking for a cafe to serve us breakfast without the smoking. ... around I found out a few things I wanted to do over the next few days and then took a nap so I would be ready to pub crawl later that night. The pub crawl was pretty good, starting out a little slow but it was pretty fun by the end of the night. I stayed out until about 4am and it was about a 10 minute run back to my hostel afterwards. Still I had to be up to go to a walking tour the next morning!
