... I laid down on Erik & tears streamed down my face. I honestly don't know what would have happened if we missed this train... 10 hour overnight train which means we would have to take a day train & miss a full day in Munich, when we only had 2 days there to begin with. Erik was laughing & obviously so happy we made it that it helped lighten up my mood too :) Someone was definitely on our side that night & we went to bed content & excited to wake up to ...

Sooooo funny! Eventually he gave up his pursuit and returned to his owner! After our ...

I started going back to where I was certain I had come from, but soon realized that I must have gotten it wrong. Shocker...I was now unmistakably in the "dodgy" area Vic had warned me about. Oh well, keep going. At least I knew I still had hours of daylight since the sun doesn't set until almost ...

... in addition to teaching and painting and the walls are hung floor to ceiling with the work of his contemporaries, that presumably he tried to sell. The Master's work is represented by his marvelous etchings-a treat for the eye. In addition we see his studio, the classroom, and elaborate and instructive exhibits on painters' canvases and pigments. The Museum has free workshops on engraving techniques and 'painting like Rembrandt'. I am disappointed that I can't stay and participate in ...
