Patrick promised something special for our last day, and as usual, he didn't disappoint. With rain predicted for the early afternoon, Patrick was keen to get on the mountain early. Today we were to walk the ridge above Faschina, challenging because it such a narrow path with steep drops over the sides. After a wet start to the Euro Alps Tour, we have been very lucky to have a few days of fabulous weather in a row. The last part was quite a steep descent along a narrow track that eventually lead to the main road, and more importantly our destination for the totally unnecessary cake and coffee, which we nonetheless enjoyed while Patrick and Anya caught the bus to where we had left the cars.
