Romantik Hotel Post -Villach

Liebe Menschen,
es ist 5.45 in der Früh und ich bin bereits geduscht, angezogen und "auf dem Sprung". Das heißt... Es geht jetzt bald los...
Fahre jetzt nach Wien, am Abend nach München, und von da geht morgen früh unser Flieger. Erste Station in Südamerika ist dann San Jose, von wo ich mich hoffentlich übermorgen Abend wieder melde.

... It's pretty picture perfect.

Vintgar Gorge is about 4km away from Bled in a National Park. Over 100 years ago, two locals built a 2km boardwalk around and across the gorge. It’s a beautiful, peaceful walk that was a nice antidote to all of the cities we’ve been visiting. Bled and Vintgar show off the real Slovenia – outdoorsy, rustic and beautiful.

Es ist wieder mal soweit.
Das Fernweh hat Überhand genommen
und zieht uns in einer Woche für einen Kurztrip nach Vietnam.

Genauer gesagt nach Nord-Vietnam, um ein bisschen mehr über die asiatische Kultur zu lernen,

Well today was much better it was sunny and we got up and wrapped up warm as its like a sunny autumn day in england. There was a dali exhibition on that Ian wanted to go and see so we walked along the side of the lake ...

... was just as we pulled up outside of it. Croatia is an amazing country very beautiful and the people that we have met have been amazing but go we have to. Got our train tickets to Slovenia we are not staying in the capital Ljubljana as we think it might be a little too busy but we have to get the train there and then get another train to Bled which is a lake near the border of Austria.

... we didn’t have much cash, would he accept Visa?

We all held our breath and exhaled and the response came ‘yes’. It got even better. Turned out Witek and I could only buy our ticket to the next stop on this train and would have to buy the ticket to Vienna at the next station. Our fare to the next station? Five euro between us – which I easily covered with the coin in my purse! Turned out the boys had worked up a sweat for nothing! Nevermind, we weren’t to know!

... was all very picturesque. We found a great free camping spot right outside of the campground! Originally we were headed to the campground but saw a few campervans parked outside in the parking lot-we were still able to walk to the toilets and use them so we saved on a night's camping. After driving back up to the grocery store to find dinner for the night, we found that it had already shut. Next ...

... stop, so we walked a few minutes to our Pension and dropped our bags off. I had planned to go to Vintgar Gorge as we only had 2 days in Bled, but the tourist bus to get there had already left for the day, so the other alternatives was to hike it or bike it.. Since the pension had free bikes that we could use, we decided to ride out to Vintgar Gorge. Man, the ride was so painful and we had no idea where we were ...

3 minutes after we left home, while we were still in our neighborhood in Vienna, Roie announced that he is tired and that he has to lie down in his bed in the caravan, while it is moving of course. This was the main theme of the first part of the day: What´s the use of a caravan if you have to sit in your seat the whole drive, just as in a car? ... in point was the guy at the tourism booking place, where we booked our activities. Imagine, if you can, the sound of 9 jaws dropping as our agent appeared.
