... with handmade noodles, also shared a server of potato pancakes with apple sauce. Just beautiful scenery and autumn leaves. Once we came back to town Karen and I did some shopping and the boys tried to hide themselves at an outdoor cafe. Not good enough camouflage so we joined them for a drink and soaked up the last rays of the ...

We spent time walking around the town this morning but being Sunday the shops were closed. Actually the prices were way above what I would pay so window shopping is all I can do in Oberstaufen - trouble with trendy ski resort towns. Lovely quark strudel for morning tea but fortunately Adrian & I shared a piece because in the afternoon we found more strudel. We went to Hundlebahn cable ...

... hours in both Switzerland and Austria as well. We left Konstanz at about 8:45 am, stopped for coffee at about 10:30 am, and had a picnic lunch at 1:00 pm. We rode 80 km along the mostly level route. We arrived at Lindau Island at 3:30 pm. Since we are midway through this bike trip and yesterday was a long ride, today was a planned rest day. We are spending two nights here in Lindau on Lindau Island. Today, we took it easy and spent the day exploring Lindau Island. In 810 ...

We had a late start after a restless sleep (a few cars in and out of the car park through the night). We set out on a 55km ride. It started through the valley on a bike path, then headed up on the road to Piller. We stopped at the Fließ Naturparkhaus for ...
