Bijna!
Het inpakken en de bijbehorende bijna-met-vakantie-stress is gestart. Over 4 dagen vertrekken we al naar Nieuw Zeeland! �� Voor iedereen die toch wel wil weten of we daar echt zijn en of we echt wel al die fantastisch mooie plekken gaan zien, zal ik af en toe wat foto's op deze blog zetten ...
Het is bijna zo ver!
... aan een fantastisch surprise-afscheidsfeestje afgelopen weekend. Vrienden en familie, iedereen was er. Ook het afscheid op het werk van Evelien was onvergetelijk. Ergens wel moeilijk, je laat iets achter wat je dierbaar is. Maar voor ons is deze reis een droom die werkelijkheid gaat worden!

Preparation
... and I hope to be underway at about 7. Weather and traffic permitting I'll be on the ferry from Calais to Dover at 1.30pm, to arrive at Eastleigh, Southampton late in the afternoon.
I'll be staying with a host family, because I see this stay in England as a good opportunity to brush up on my speaking skills, to improve my accent and to enjoy a bit of British family life.

Farewell to Simon and Elieen
... approach to tuning. We saw tall ships leaving, a majestic sight and finally Isi twigged that Eileen had been looking for tall ships not toy shops.
We ate kibbeling on the river, absolutely delicious crunchy + crispy.
Then back on board, we chilled, sunned ourselves watching the mega barges zoom through the lifting bridge.
