... of the business. The assignment will take nine weeks and I will be gone for 11 weeks in total. That means that next to working I will also have two weeks of time for traveling. My plan is to write a blog at least every week but I don't know how good the internet will be so I don't know if I will be able to. So I guess this is my first blog, two and a half week before I leave.

... From there we will be put hard to work on Ernst and Penny's farm until beginning February. The hopes are to pop over to New Zealand in between. The final part of the trip will consist of Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam and Laos. The exact order is still to be determined :)

Well you might have noticed we missed a day!!!! Well it rained and then rained a bit more and finally rained some more. The journey from Koln to Holland was wet but relatively quick and we arrive at De Zanding at about 3pm. For the first time this trip we had to put up the tent in the rain! ... 1700s and the land eroded into shifting sand dunes!!!! They had to leave but eventually decided the only way to fix the land was to plant trees. So these very early environmentalists did that and reforested the entire country so that almost none of the sand remained. Amazing!
