... dinner. It's bedtime now, as we're getting up bright and early to take a train along the French Riviera to Genoa, Italy. France was so much better than we even expected; we didn't encounter any rude French people (not sure where that stigma came from - everyone was very nice and helpful to us), and we saw so many things that were unbelievably incredible in many ways: historically, emotionally, spiritually, naturally, architecturally, culturally... you name it, we saw it. GREAT first ...

Tonight was our first formal night onboard ship. No tux here, just the standard charcoal grey suit. Frankly, formal nights are over rated. We missed the summer lavender fields. If you really dig modern painting, Aix-en-Provence may hold some charm. Not a bad town, just nothing really spectacular.
