... traveled through many varied Indian landscapes, like deserts. I distinctly remember a scene in the movie with camels (which do occur in Rajasthan and some other arid regions of the country). However, the Darjeeling Himalaya Railway only runs for around 50 miles traversing the mountainous of North Bengal State (elevations from around 350-7,200 feet).

Each of the steps had become sizeable so you were taking your whole weight constantly, the front, top of my thigh started to burn and my legs were getting wobbly, it was quite funny really.
