... but facilities are quite upto the mark. Rooms are
clean & geyser was working properly . You will not get any fancy food here.
But all famous restro are very nearby. Overall the security is good.

This guest house gave me two surprises & that was not mentioned in their
menu book or tariff :P.

One is amazing Kanchanjanga view from our room & other one is god ...

... muscle relaxer. All I have eaten today is breakfast, but I'm tired and I just want to sleep. So I sleep pretty much all through the night. Deepak is next to me and wakes me a up a few times when the bus stops for a break so that I can get up, stretch my legs and go to the bathroom. At about 11 am this morning, after traveling all night I am woken up on the bus one more time and we are being told that we need to transfer to another bus. So I transfer my bags from one bus ...

... really good, much better than the motor cross track from Calcutta! On the way back to Darjeeling, we saw several anti-speeding signs on the roadside, including "Better late than dead" and "Better late than never", not sure if they work or not!

  • Along the way, we dropped Giri off back in Maney Bhanyjang and said our farewells, plus we also gave him our old water bottles as we didn't need them anymore, he'll have more use out of them than us.
