Lundi matin, nous prenons le célèbre petit train bleu de Darjeeling, pour une ballade de quelques kilomètres. Ce trains circule sur des rails à faible écartement, on dirait un jouet. ... insiting they show me their classrooms and art work - of which they are rightly proud! the school is only just recovering from an awful earthquake last year so it was great to see the classrooms in one piece!
The school teaches 3-11 and hygiene as well as school education, so everyone can have lunch safely and cleanly. We gave out balloons that Yvonne cleverly brought which was a massive success! Will be back for more tomorrow - maybe a little teaching...

Time for tea and epic journeys
... was satan himself. The family ended up lying on the floor outside the toilets, and I felt absolutely terrible... We start travelling on "Snowy" the overland truck
... two dugout canoes with flat bottoms, and quite stable. Have a lovely cruise down the pretty, clear river, with green banks surrounded by jungle, with a fairly clear under-storey.
