Spent a few hours drinking milk tea and chatting with Giri, plus the three Czech guys when they turned up later on.

  • Moved into the dining hall where a larger fire had been started (quite cold outside), had a lovely dinner of Indian style dahl baht, chocolate banana pudding and a local ...

... be eating. Around India and Nepal we had seen dead prepared (gutted and de-feathered) chickens that looked like they had been sitting there for hours if not days so this was guaranteed to be fresh, if not the freshest chicken I'd ever had. If you're eating meat and can't stomach to look at what your about to eat isn't that a bit daft? I've always wanted to spend a week living out in the wilderness, catching and killing my own food and cooking it over a fire! Call it my ...
